Costeaux French Bakery in Healdsburg
Treat yourself to bakery fresh breads, desserts, sandwiches and more.
Discover the charm of Costeaux French Bakery, one of my favorite brunch destinations in picturesque wine country. Nestled in the heart of Healdsburg, Sonoma County, this bakery has a storied history dating back to 1923 and serves as a haven for indulgence when it comes to artisan breads.
“We think bread is an important part of every meal. Often it’s the first “food product” that a guest will partake in their dining experience,” said owner Will Seppi.

At Costeaux French Bakery they believe in the significance of bread as a culinary cornerstone, which drives them to meticulously shape and bake every loaf using a traditional hearth oven direct from Italy. With a 24-48 hour fermentation process, their breads develop a distinct flavor.

From breads like ciabatta, seeded sourdough, brioche to cinnamon walnut – the moment you take your first bite, you’ll experience the dedication and craftsmanship that goes into each loaf.
I always like to start my visit with a mocha and pastry. (cookie on the side of course)
