Discovering Reynolds Family Winery in Napa

A Pairing with Flavor

Reynolds Family Winery is a family-owned and operated winery located in the heart of Napa Valley, California. On a recent trip to Napa, I knew I wanted to visit again, having served a bottle of their 2019 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon at a dinner party.

To complement its strong tannins and notes of dark fruit and cocoa I served braised short ribs with creamy polenta, drizzled with a porcini mushroom cream sauce. My guests loved it, and so did I.

Founded in 1995, the winery produces award-winning wines that are enjoyed around the world.

Their commitment to excellence is seen in the quality of their wines and the passion they put into each bottle. With over four decades of experience, the winery has a wide selection of both white and red wines, ranging from classic favorites to unique blends.

From their Estate Cabernet Sauvignon to their Proprietary Red blend, each wine is hand-crafted with the utmost care. The winery also offers a variety of experiences, including private tastings, vineyard tours, and educational seminars.

Wide Range of Wines Offered

They specialize in handcrafted, small-lot wines that are estate grown and crafted in the traditional Napa Valley style. Their wines are produced with a combination of old-world and modern techniques, and they strive to create wines that are balanced, complex, and true to the terroir of their vineyard.

All of their wines are sustainably farmed.

They also have a winery direct line of high-end wines like Steadfast, Due Diligence and Mountain that are showstoppers – with truly small batch volumes – like 95 to 145 cases.

Ambience

The surrounding scenery of the winery is stunning. The winery is located just below Stags Leap District in the Silverado Trail (but not actually in it). Their setting is surrounded by rolling hill, but the key feature is their 3/4 acre pond the tasting room and winery sit next to. Most people love the birds, turtles – even Otters on occasion.

The winery has a unique microclimate with hot days and cool nights, making it perfect for growing the finest grapes. The views of the surrounding vineyards and mountains are breathtaking and provide a stunning backdrop for the winery.

The surrounding area also offers plenty of outdoor activities, from hiking and biking to kayaking and fishing. Whether you’re a wine connoisseur or a novice, Reynolds Family Winery offers something for everyone.
