Hall Napa Valley founded by Vintners Craig and Kathryn Hall, proudly marks its 30th anniversary. For over three decades, HALL wines have become synonymous with elegance, innovation and quality.

“Reaching our 30‑year milestone is a testament to the passion and dedication of everyone who’s been part of our journey—from our vineyard teams to our loyal members around the world,” said Vintner Kathryn Hall, HALL. “Our commitment has always been to craft wines that speak of place. This anniversary inspires us to honor tradition even as we embrace new challenges and opportunities.”

Under the leadership of President Mike Reynolds, HALL’s first winemaker, the winery has expanded its portfolio to include small‑lot bottlings, immersive tasting experiences with modern art, and state‑of‑the‑art winemaking facilities. HALL St. Helena has earned two LEED Gold certifications for its production facility and modern tasting room.

“When Craig, Kathryn and I first discussed the vision for HALL, our shared dream was to create wines that reflect the unique terroir and diversity in Napa Valley.  At the same time, we wanted to create places where people could visit us, taste our wines, and enjoy an authentic experience that allows them to connect with the winery, our people, and the place.” Reynolds shared. “Today, that vision has been realized at our six tasting rooms including HALL St. Helena, HALL Rutherford, HALL Palm Springs, WALT Napa, WALT Sonoma, and WALT | BACA Healdsburg.”

To help celebrate the 30th Anniversary, HALL has recently added an interactive art piece at our St. Helena winery called Soul Service Station by renowned Los Angeles–based artist Alison Saar. Known for her evocative works exploring themes of identity and resilience, Saar reimagines a vintage gas station as a place of spiritual replenishment, incorporating salvaged materials, a life-size carved female figure, and interactive elements, including a conch shell that plays a poem recorded by the artist. Each of HALL’s six tasting room locations includes an indoor/outdoor collection of modern art.

In addition to HALL’s Cabernet Sauvignons, the wine portfolio also includes three additional brands, WALTBACA, and Michel Foch, WALT is dedicated to crafting bold, expressive Pinot Noirs that span 1,000 miles of Pacific coastline—from California’s central coast cool-climate vineyards of Santa Barbara stretching to Oregon’s Willamette Valley.

With a focus on site-driven winemaking, WALT highlights the nuance of terroir through fan-favorite bottlings like Blue JayLa Brisa, and its flagship Bob’s Ranch Pinot Noir. The portfolio also includes standout Sonoma Chardonnays such as Sangiacomo and Bob’s Ranch which are known for their vibrant texture and elegance.

BACA brings a fresh, playful energy to crafting bold, modern wines with a spirit of adventure. Known for its eye-catching labels, BACA celebrates curiosity, creativity, and a passion for the unexpected. Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and Rhone varietals sourced from some of California’s most prized vineyards offer wines of rich character and vibrant complexity.

In 2025, HALL ventured into the world of French Champagne with the debut of Michel Foch Champagne, a luxury brand born from the shared vision of both Kathryn Hall and Mike Reynolds. The full portfolio includes five wines: 2015 Blanc de Blancs, 2013 Brut, 2011 ‘Late Disgorged’ Blanc de Blancs, Multi-Vintage Brut, and a refined Multi‑Vintage Rosé. The Michel Foch Champagnes are only available directly from the winery.

As a part of the 30th anniversary, the winery will also be hosting a series of Kathryn Hall On the Road dinners to celebrate the 2022 vintage release of its flagship Cabernet Sauvignon,  Kathryn Hall. Eleven dinners are currently planned, with more added throughout the season. Each stop will feature thoughtfully crafted wine-pairing experiences culminating in the unveiling of the 2022 Kathryn Hall Cabernet hosted by Vintner Kathryn Hall, President Mike Reynolds, or Vice President of Sales Jeff Zappelli.

“Our commitment to making great wines from world-class vineyard sites will continue to define our next chapter,” added Reynolds. “But what excites us most is where that commitment will take us—from deepening our roots in Napa, Sonoma, Anderson Valley, Santa Rita Hills, Santa Lucia Highlands and Oregon, to exploring a new direction in Champagne with Michel Foch. We’re just getting started, and the future holds extraordinary opportunities to connect with our guests and continue to raise our standards in everything we do.”
