V Foundation for Cancer Research Announces the 27th Annual Wine Celebration July 31 – August 3, 2025, at Estate Yountville in the heart of Napa Valley. At the Wine Celebration, attendees will learn directly from top researchers about the most cutting-edge cancer research funded by the V Foundation, enjoy a fabulous food and wine festival featuring award-winning chefs and vintners, and bid on one-of-a-kind experiences offered exclusively for this event at the Gala & Auction at Nickel & Nickel Estate Winery. 100% of the event proceeds will fund lifesaving cancer research through the V Foundation.

Thursday, July 31
· A hallmark of the Wine Celebration, Dinner with the Docs will be held at the historic Inglenook Winery in Rutherford, Napa Valley. This starlit dinner event provides an opportunity for guests to learn from and engage with the members of the V Foundation’s Scientific Advisory Committee who are leading physicians and research scientists at prominent cancer centers nationwide.
Friday, August 1
· The “Rock the V Party & Concert” at The Pavilion at Estate Yountville will showcase some of the region’s best food and wine, with a festive concert featuring Grammy-nominated artist Maggie Rose.
Saturday, August 2
· The Krzyzewski Family Cancer Research Symposium at The Social at Estate Yountville features an interactive morning with three V Foundation-funded grantees sharing their work within the cancer research field. This year’s focus includes the annual Fund-A-Need topic, cancer prevention and interception.
· The highlight of the weekend, the Gala & Auction, will be held at Nickel & Nickel Estate Winery in Oakville, Napa Valley. The event will be hosted by Proprietor Beth Nickel and Mike “Coach K” Krzyzewski. The evening will include a multi-course gourmet meal and a live auction including an array of one-of-a-kind experiential packages.
In total, the V Foundation for Cancer Research has awarded nearly $400 million in grants to more than 1,300 research teams across North America. The V Foundation has made a proven, positive impact on the cancer research landscape, funding bold ideas that accelerate breakthroughs and save lives.
