
Vintners Resort in Santa Rosa
This resort is a gateway to the enchanting Russian River Valley and world-renowned wineries.
Vintners Resort is an Italian-inspired destination with a spa, heated plunge pool, and bocce ball court. A one-mile walking trail winds through the resort’s orchards, vegetable gardens, and vineyards.

Guest rooms and suites are set in two-story buildings and feature furnished balconies or patios, fireplaces, and courtyard or vineyard views.
Accommodations
The resort’s 78 rooms and suites feature furnished outdoor areas—patios on first floor rooms and balconies on upper level rooms, along with views of the vineyards or courtyard gardens.

Most have electric fireplaces, and second floor rooms boast vaulted wood-beamed ceilings. Personal refrigerators and coffee makers are included, and in-room dining is offered for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Courtyard rooms, with the same furnishings and amenities, look out on fountains and lush flowering gardens.
In the Vineyard View Deluxe room, French doors open to the patio or balcony. The bathroom includes an oversized walk-in shower, two-person Roman soaking tub, and plush robes.

For more spacious accommodations, suites with separate bedrooms or open-concept layouts are available. In the Vineyard Terrace Deluxe Suite on the first floor, an expansive living room includes a fireplace, wet bar, wine cooler, guest powder room, and dining table for four.
The private bedroom features an ensuite bathroom with walk-in rain shower and vanity desk.

The Courtyard Suite is the resort’s most spacious at 940 square feet. Through double French doors, the living room opens to an expansive enclosed terrace, ideal for al fresco entertaining. The bedroom includes a California king feather bed, and there’s a Murphy bed in the living room for two guests.
The ensuite bathroom includes a walk-in shower and oversized soaking tub.

Dining
Executive Chef Tom Schmidt oversees the resort’s restaurants, and his menus highlight fresh, seasonal, local ingredients.

John Ash & Co
Favorites among guests and locals, Vintners Resort dining venues include John Ash & Co. restaurant, set in the vineyard and offering cuisine with ingredients sourced from local farms and food producers as well as from the resort’s gardens.

Appetizers include Hog Island oysters and Castroville artichoke soup, with main dishes like Sacramento River Delta sturgeon and Bellwether Farms ricotta cavatelli. The restaurant’s extensive wine list has been honored by Wine Enthusiast Magazine. Guests can dine indoors or al fresco.

River Vine
River Vine is the resort’s rustic café, open for breakfast, brunch, and lunch served in the dining room or outdoors on the patio.

The cozy bar at The Front Room Bar & Lounge is the place for wine, beer, cocktails, and light bites.
A daily Happy Hour menu includes oysters, grilled fish tacos, and fresh baked pretzels. On the more extensive lounge menu, pizza, salads, burgers, and charcuterie are offered, along with main dishes like New York strip steak and Liberty Farms Duck spaghetti carbonara. Pair your favorite dish with a glass of local wine.
Vi La Vita Spa
With five treatment rooms including a couples’ massage suite, the Spa offers a heated plunge pool and terrace, indoor caldarium with warm plunge bath, relaxation lounge, and men’s and women’s changing rooms with eucalyptus steam rooms.

The spa menu includes a variety of massages, body treatments, and facials as well as salon services.
The resort’s fitness room features TechnoGym equipment, and wellness classes include yoga and sound healing.
Activities
Guests can explore the resort’s gardens on a two-hour experience with Culinary Gardener and Landscape Manager, Chris Connell. The tour begins with a glass of sparkling wine and garden fresh amuse-bouche. Guests learn about growing produce and flowers, focusing on sustainable gardening practices and the green philosophy of Vintners Resort.
The tour ends with a picnic lunch in the vineyard.
Walk, jog, or stroll among the resort’s 92 acres of vineyards, fig trees, and olive orchards. See the grapevines up close, and enjoy the resort’s flowers, plants, and wildlife.
